The vape market is flooded with different devices and with no direction it can be very confusing! The wrong device can make it almost impossible to quit, or just ruin vaping for a long time. There are several groups of devices, with different goals in mind. Just for now a very quick rundown, and later I am going to spend a bit more time on each one: Mods are the big boys. Pods are the miniature version often SaltNic devices: there are open, and closed pods. And pens are a thinner and often less powerful devices. When we talk about mods an other important topic should be mentioned, namely the battery safety.
The best mods, pods on the market are always changing. It feels like there is a new device every other week! But the best is not always the newest. Unfortunately sometimes a good idea can be “not so well-thought” in real life. Sometimes it is wise to wait a couple weeks to pick up a new product, until the unbiased reviews will tickle in. And while a good vape shop will always help to pick up the best products, in some places profit steps in the equation. I just heard of someone selling a Suorin Drop as the “Best POD on the market”, and this just make me sad.

Which is the Best Mods in 2019?

In an earlier article I’ve already mentioned some good examples, but here is the list again:

Which is the Best Vape Pens in 2019?
Vape pens are a bit of a red headed step child of the vape market. We still have them, but if they are too small they don’t really work. And it’s kind of cheating to put a single battery mod into the pen categories. I think in the future, pen devices will be phased out by the Pods. The pods are getting more and more Tank-like with mesh coils and bigger pods, so at the end it makes sense. But to go back to the best pens on the market:
- Whrill 22 by Uwell: It’s a new pen, that strong enough to help anyone to switch to vaping from smoking. A very good starter kit, with adjustable airflow and great flavors. While the cloud production is still on the low side.
- SMOK Stick Prince Kit – Pen-Style: This device is on the imaginary line between a real mod and a pen. The reason for this, that the battery actually comes with a real tank. In this case the TFV12 Prince. But size-wise it’s still not as big as the next item on the list. The pen is still pretty basic, with no wattage options.
- FreeMax Twister kit: It is a brand new device on the market. It can still be called as a “pen” but it is more like a single battery mod with internal battery. Right now this is the best tank on the market. The only down-side is the looks, they are wild and colorful. It can go up to 80 W. Hopefully solid colors will be released in the future.
